The A14 in Suffolk has reopened following a police incident which closed the road for several hours.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 3.20am on Tuesday, August 1.
The incident happened near Bury St Edmunds and involved a single vehicle leaving the carriageway.
The road was closed for several hours while police investigated the incident and recovered the vehicle.
Delays built up back to the A11 at Barton Mills and around Junction 43 of the A14.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area if possible and find alternative routes.
The road has now reopened and traffic is easing.
