Bundesliga: Bochum – Bayern 0:5! Bayerns Anti-Sorgen-Sieg
Bayern Munich bounced back from their shock defeat to Augsburg with a comfortable 5-0 win over Bochum on Saturday.
Leroy Sane opened the scoring for the visitors in the 18th minute, before goals from Kingsley Coman, Thomas Muller, Sadio Mane and Serge Gnabry wrapped up a comprehensive victory.
The win moves Bayern three points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table, while Bochum remain second from bottom.
Bayern were dominant from the start and took the lead when Sane fired home from a rebound after Coman's shot had been saved.
The visitors continued to create chances and Coman doubled their lead in the 33rd minute with a clinical finish from the edge of the area.
Muller made it 3-0 just before half-time with a header from Joshua Kimmich's cross.
Bayern continued to press in the second half and Mane added a fourth goal in the 60th minute with a low shot from inside the area.
Gnabry completed the scoring in the 76th minute with a close-range finish after being set up by Mane.
The win was a welcome return to form for Bayern, who had been beaten 1-0 by Augsburg last weekend.
It also ended a run of three consecutive draws for Bochum, who are now winless in their last four matches.
The result leaves Bayern three points clear of Borussia Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga table, while Bochum remain second from bottom.
