Goole Vikings sign fifth former Hull FC player as new squad reaches dozen
Hull Live
Goole Vikings have signed their fifth former Hull FC player as they continue to build their squad ahead of their debut season in the National Conference League.
Ross Osborne has joined the Vikings from the Black and Whites and follows fellow ex-Hull players Jordan Lane, Ellis Longstaff, Adam Robinson and Aaron Wilson to the Craven Park club.
Osborne, 22, is a centre who can also play on the wing and spent last season playing for Hull FC Reserves in the Reserves Championship.
He has previously played for Hull KR's academy and featured on loan at Hunslet in 2022.
Osborne is a welcome addition to the Vikings squad, who have now signed 12 players ahead of their first season in the third tier of the English rugby league system.
The Vikings will play their home games at the Hull University sports campus and will be hoping to make an immediate impact in the National Conference League.
They will be competing against the likes of Bradford Bulls, Keighley Cougars and Workington Town in the league's Premier Division.
