Singer Howard Carpendale on the Road Again

Carpendale starts his first tour in two years on Friday in Cologne

After a two-year break due to the corona pandemic, singer Howard Carpendale is on the road with his show "Hello Again". The tour officially kicks off on Friday in Cologne's Lanxess Arena. It will also make stops in Munich, Berlin and Vienna before it ends on March 26th in Leipzig.

"It's all about emotions"

Carpendale promises his fans an emotional evening with his greatest hits and new songs. "The most important thing for me is to convey emotions. That's what my songs are all about. They're about love, loss, hope and happiness," the 76-year-old said in an interview with the German Press Agency.

Carpendale is said to have sold more than 30 million records in his career. His first album was released in 1969. His most famous hits include "Tür an Tür mit Alice", "Ti amo" and "Hello Again".

In 2020, Carpendale was diagnosed with a skin cancer. In October of the same year, he underwent surgery and has since been cancer-free.
