Juventus miss chance to go second after Fiorentina draw
Sturm will beim LASK die Premiere schaffen!
Ein Sieg gegen den vermeintlichen Angstgegner aus Linz würde den Grazern einen Schub im Titelrennen geben.
Juventus missed the chance to move into second place in Serie A after being held to a 1-1 draw at Fiorentina on Wednesday.
Dusan Vlahovic gave the hosts a deserved lead in the first half, but Arkadiusz Milik equalised for Juventus just after the hour mark.
The result leaves Juventus in third place, one point behind second-placed Inter Milan and eight points behind leaders Napoli.
Fiorentina remain in 12th place, six points above the relegation zone.
Juventus started the game brightly and had the first chance of the match when Angel Di Maria fired wide from a good position.
Fiorentina gradually grew into the game and took the lead in the 29th minute when Vlahovic headed home from close range.
Juventus came close to equalising just before half-time when Milik's shot was saved by Fiorentina goalkeeper Pietro Terracciano.
The visitors continued to press after the break and were rewarded in the 66th minute when Milik headed home from a cross by Di Maria.
Juventus had a chance to win the game in the dying minutes, but Milik's header was saved by Terracciano.
The draw means that Juventus have now failed to win in their last three Serie A games.
They will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they host Lazio on Sunday.
Fiorentina, meanwhile, will be pleased with a point against one of the top teams in Serie A.
They will be hoping to build on this result when they travel to Salernitana on Sunday.
