## Mariendorf, Berlin: Traffic Light Malfunction Causes Accident ### Berlin, Germany - 24th September 2023 A traffic light malfunction in the Mariendorf district of Berlin caused an accident on Thursday morning, injuring two people. The accident occurred at the intersection of Mariendorfer Damm and Großbeerenstraße at around 7:45 AM. The police report states that a car was driving on Mariendorfer Damm when it collided with a truck that was making a left turn onto Großbeerenstraße. The traffic light at the intersection was not functioning properly, and as a result, the car driver did not see the truck. The two people in the car were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The truck driver was not injured. The police are investigating the cause of the accident. The traffic light has since been repaired.
