Zupmano Signs Long-Term Deal

Nevio Zupmano has joined Bundesliga side Hoffenheim from Serie B outfit Frosinone on a long-term contract. The 22-year-old right-back has been a key player for Frosinone, making 25 appearances in Serie B this season and helping the club to a mid-table finish.

Zupmano is a versatile defender who can also play as a center-back. He is a strong tackler and a good passer of the ball. He is also a threat going forward, having scored two goals for Frosinone this season.

Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rosen said: "Nevio is a young player with great potential. He is a strong defender who is also good on the ball. We are delighted to have him join our club."

Zupmano said: "I am very happy to join Hoffenheim. It is a big club with a great history. I am looking forward to playing in the Bundesliga and helping the club to achieve its goals."

Zupmano is the second Italian player to join Hoffenheim this summer, following the arrival of forward Luca Siligardi from Inter Milan. The club is also in talks to sign midfielder Vincenzo Grifo from Freiburg.
