Riley Keough Talks About Growing Up With Grandma Priscilla Presley and Mom Lisa Marie Presley

Riley Keough, the actress and granddaughter of Elvis Presley, has opened up about her upbringing in a new interview.

Keough, 33, spoke to The New York Times about her childhood and the loss of her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, to suicide in January. She said that she was raised by her mother and grandmother, Priscilla Presley, and that she had a close relationship with both of them.

"My grandmother was very present," she said. "She was a very young grandmother, and she was very involved in my life. I spent a lot of time with her."

Keough also spoke about her mother, who she said was "very loving" and "very protective." She said that her mother was always there for her and that she was a great role model.

"My mom was a very strong woman," she said. "She was very independent and she was very determined. She was a great example for me."

Keough has been open about her grief in the wake of her mother's death. She has said that she is still trying to process it and that she is taking it "day by day.".
