SAF Holland heading for target increase?
Many analysts believe that the commercial vehicle specialist is looking to set new record figures in 2023
SAF Holland is said to be heading for a target increase. This is reported by the "Börsen-Zeitung", citing company and financial market circles. According to the report, the commercial vehicle supplier is currently examining whether and to what extent the previous targets can be revised upwards.
Adjusted targets could be presented at the beginning of May
Accordingly, the focus is on the medium-term targets for the so-called "Strategy 2025". These had provided for sales of 2 billion euros and an adjusted EBIT margin of 13% by 2025. According to the "Börsen-Zeitung", corresponding key figures could be presented at the beginning of May.
SAF Holland did not want to comment on the information when asked by the "Börsen-Zeitung". In the past financial year, the company achieved sales of 1.76 billion euros, an increase of 26 percent compared to the previous year. The adjusted EBIT margin was 11.2%.
Analysts have recently given a positive assessment of SAF Holland's business development. In a study, the investment bank Jefferies confirmed its "buy" recommendation for the stock with a price target of 17 euros.
Jefferies analyst David Kerstens expects SAF Holland to continue to benefit from the recovery in the commercial vehicle market and the growing demand for electric and autonomous driving solutions.
