## Strasbourg - Nantes live Nantes extended their unbeaten run in Ligue 1 to seven matches with a 2-1 victory over Strasbourg on Saturday, moving up to ninth place in the standings. Ludovic Blas converted a penalty in the 34th minute to give Nantes the lead at the Stade de la Meinau. Strasbourg equalised early in the second half through Habib Diallo, but Nantes secured the three points when Evann Guessand scored from close range in the 73rd minute. The victory lifts Nantes to 40 points, one point behind eighth-placed Montpellier, while Strasbourg remain in 11th place with 36 points. In a match between two teams in good form, it was Nantes who made the brighter start and they took the lead midway through the first half when Blas converted from the spot after Jean-Charles Castelletto was adjudged to have handled the ball in the area. Strasbourg came out with more purpose after the break and they drew level in the 52nd minute when Diallo headed home from Kevin Gameiro's cross. However, Nantes regained the lead just after the hour mark when Guessand bundled the ball home from close range after Strasbourg failed to clear a corner. Strasbourg pushed for an equaliser in the closing stages but Nantes held on to secure the victory.
