The Maccabees reunite for All Points East 2025
Back with a new album and a hometown show at Victoria Park
The Maccabees have announced that they will reunite for a headline show at London's Victoria Park as part of the 2025 All Points East festival.
The band, who split in 2016, will release their first new album in over a decade, on April 28.
‘A very special day for us’
The Maccabees said in a statement: "We are so excited to announce that we will be reuniting for a very special day at Victoria Park next summer. We can’t wait to play all the songs you love, and some new ones too. It is going to be a very special day for us and we hope to see you all there."
The Maccabees’ headline show at All Points East will take place on Friday, May 23, 2025. Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 3 at 9am.
The band also announced that they will be playing a number of other shows in the UK and Ireland in 2025, including a date at Manchester’s O2 Apollo on May 25 and Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on May 27.
The Maccabees’ last album, Marks to Prove It, was released in 2015. The band split up the following year, with frontman Orlando Weeks saying at the time that they had "reached the end of the road".
However, the band have been teasing a reunion for some time. In 2022, they played a secret show in London, and they have also been working on new music.
The Maccabees’ reunion is sure to be a major event for fans of the band. The band were one of the most popular indie bands of the 2000s and early 2010s, and their music continues to be loved by many.
Tickets for the Maccabees’ All Points East headline show are sure to sell out quickly, so fans are advised to buy tickets as soon as possible.
