WNBA Aces to Host Sparks, Lynx in Final Regular Season Home Stand

Las Vegas Concludes Home Schedule with Games on Wednesday and Thursday

The Las Vegas Aces will conclude their 2024 regular season home schedule this week with a game against the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday, July 25 at 7 p.m. and the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday, July 26 at 7 p.m. inside Michelob ULTRA Arena.

The Aces enter the week with a 16-8 record, good for third place in the WNBA standings. Las Vegas is coming off a 74-87 loss Thursday night in Minnesota. Before that, the Aces had won four straight games, including a 94-85 victory over the New York Liberty at home on July 12.

The Aces will face a tough test against the Sparks, who are 11-11 this season and currently in ninth place in the standings. Los Angeles is led by Nneka Ogwumike, who is averaging 19.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. The Sparks also have Candace Parker, who is averaging 14.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.

The Lynx are 10-13 this season and in 10th place in the standings. Minnesota is led by Sylvia Fowles, who is averaging 15.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per game. The Lynx also have Aerial Powers, who is averaging 14.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

Wednesday will mark the third and final meeting between the Aces and Sparks this season. The Aces have won the first two games, including a 104-83 victory in Los Angeles on June 9 and a 96-74 win in Las Vegas on July 2.

Thursday’s game will be the first meeting between the Lynx and Aces this season. The teams will meet again during the final week of the regular season in Minnesota on Aug. 11.
